Invitation to Bid

Korean Cultural Center in Thailand, a part of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Thailand (Korean Cultural Center, KCC) is inviting contractors to participate in the selection of its General Contractor Works for the hereunder project:

Name of Project: Renovation Project for the Relocation of the Korean Cultural Center

Contract Duration: May 2025 – December 2025

Building Location: 1077, Sukhumvit road, Khlong Tan Nuea Sub-district, Wattana District, Bangkok

Contractor’s Work scope: Scope of works includes (but not limited to)

- Architectural, Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Acoustics and Structural Cabling

Gross Floor Area: Approximately 1,872m² (5-story building including mezzanine with outdoor parking)

*Office space to be renovated into a cultural activity area, auditorium, exhibition hall, language, culture and cooking classrooms and library

Estimated Budget: THB 53,297,553.98 (inclusive of construction, occupancy and other related permits)

* VAT exemption

* Final budget will be confirmed upon contract

Project Execution Duration: Eight (8) months starting from the contract date

(project period is negotiable upon discussion)

Bidding Method: This bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures

RFP Schedule

• 1.General Contractor Works RFP Issuance: 8 April 2025

• 2.Pre-bid registration: 18 April 2025, 10AM

• 3.Pre-bid inspection: 21 April 2025

• 4.Tender Return: 6 May 2025, 10AM

• 5.Tender Evaluation: 6 to 8 May 2025

• 6.Appointment of General Vendor:13 to 16 May 2025

• 7.Start of General Works: May 2025

• 8.Completion of General Works: End of December 2025

*Contract to be signed directly with KCC after the completion of negotiation

* Please note that these dates are subject to change, and the changed dates will be announced accordingly

A complete set of bidding documents will be available for interested Bidders starting 8 April 2025 from the email below. It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of KCC (https://thailand.korean-culture.org/th).
